Wake up on the water, a few steps from the old town and the beach.

The experience

A small floating home in the heart of the harbour

In the morning, light comes through the glass doors and plays across the ceiling with the movement of the water. Outside, the rigging of the sailing boats knocks softly in the breeze. Coffee is on the terrace, a step from the sea.

Seabreeze and Seabreeze 2 are two small houseboats moored in Alghero harbour. Inside is everything you need: a double bedroom, a living area with a kitchen, a shower room, air conditioning. Up top, a solarium with sun loungers and a view of the old town.

The historic centre is ten minutes on foot, Lido beach four hundred metres away. In the evening you come back on board, climb up to the roof and watch the sun go down behind the masts.

Alghero

A few suggestions from people who know it

Other houseboats moored among the sailing boats in Alghero harbour
  1. The old town and its sea walls

Cobbled lanes, Catalan churches and ramparts above the sea. At sunset, walk the Bastioni Marco Polo.

  2. Lido beach

A long stretch of pale sand starts a few minutes from the harbour, with shallow water and a seafront promenade for evening walks.

  3. Capo Caccia and Neptune's Grotto

Reach the grotto by boat from Alghero harbour, or from above by walking down the 654 steps of the Escala del Cabirol.

  4. Porto Conte and Le Prigionette

The nature park between Capo Caccia and Punta Giglio: trails, coves and, with a little luck, white donkeys and horses.

  5. Red coral

Alghero is the capital of the Coral Riviera. Workshops in the old town still craft the red coral from its waters.

  6. A Catalan accent

Algherese, a variety of Catalan, is still spoken here. You will see it on the street signs, in two languages.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is from 13:00 and check-out is by 10:00. If you need a different time, ask us and we will arrange it when we can.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes, on request. Let us know before booking what kind of pet you are bringing.

Where can I park?

The harbour is close to the centre. We will send directions to the most convenient car parks when we confirm your booking.

Is it suitable for families?

Each boat has a double bedroom and a sofa bed in the living area. With small children, remember you are on the water: the terrace has railings, but an eye is always needed.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes. A stay on a houseboat makes a lovely present: write to us and we will prepare a gift voucher for you.

Can you arrange a cake for an occasion?

Yes, on both boats, to order: cakes for birthdays and engagements. Just tell us when you book.

Are parties allowed?

The houseboats are made for quiet stays, so we do not accept stag or hen parties.

Why book direct?

You talk to us straight away, with no one in between. And guests who book here receive a small extra: a welcome drink on board and, whenever possible, a later check-out.
